The 1812 Era Colonial Home
in the Touchstone EcoVillage
Touchstone Farm & Center -
-- for over twenty years a socio-political-arts and healing center
that is also a working organic market garden and an eclectic place of
retreat for many ---
is seeking for sisters and brothers of the wind who would wish to
live
in a small, intimate Eco-Village which is nestled around the Farm
Center.
We are in Easthampton, Massachusetts, five miles from Northampton
Center.
There are currently two existing homes on the land.
----The Farm House and the Colonial ----
The engineering and design for the seven new additional homes is
complete
and the project has been approved by the town.
Following a connotative guideline of New England Village Style Homes,
the people who purchase a home lot
will complete the design by co-designing the home with the builder,
who has already built successful and admired two co-housing villages in
our area.
We are ready to build.
We are currently selling seven house lots and the 1812 colonial home.
It is a true Colonial, built about 1812.
It has five bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room,
living room,
large south-facing glassed-in heated sun porch room, attached carriage
house studio.
Most of the rooms have colonial style fireplaces.
It sits on a quarter acre of land nestled next to the woods
and also co-owns (with the village)
about seven acres of orchard, fields, gardens and woods
