Direct Knowledge

There are numerous levels to the state of Direct Knowledge.  In this library I usually am referring to a very simple state of being with oneself.  When one is familiar with cultivating the collected state, this depth of witness is felt as a very tactile living Îplace Îin our being.  At this [point one simply turns the tactile way we have used the breath to feel our physical, emotional and mental bodies towards feeling the direct state of being ÎaroundÌ us. 

It is something like becoming a tuning fork which will resonate with the same depth with all other animate and inanimate essences, beings or objects.  It is not so much, in this metaphor, the sound of the tuning fork that we are concerned with as the state and condition, the quality, of the tuning fork from which its capacity to resonate arises. 

A good way to cultivate this condition is to sit near a boulder and, with the center of your heart, listen to its song which continually sings ÏI amÓ.  Soon one develops the ability to feel the nature of the emotional communication of the animals and other beings which do not use the same sort of language structure we humans are accustomed to rely upon to Îdo businessÌ..
