Unveiling |
| In this library when I use the term ÎunveilingÌ, I am referring to
a process where in we pass from one perceived reality to a deeper perceived
reality. Both realities may well be simultaneously false and true.
The nature of the veils is that they lead you deeper and deeper towards
The Beloved. Very often with each deepening into a new veil, we believe
we have reached The Beloved (final truth), but soon, if we are lucky, that
veil too lifts.
A simple example could be patriotism. Patriotism is a valid and powerful truth which has greatly shaped (and at times misshaped) the lands of the earth. When the veil of patriotism lifts, we may then see the oneness of humankind, a deeper truth of the same form of relationship. This does not mean that the emotions of patriotism are invalid or wrong. We now then would have access to a deeper sense of the reality that our patriotism was attempting to express. Eventually the veil of the oneness of humans lifts, and we come to the veil - the reality, however we wish to refer to it - of the oneness of all beings. And so on. So too, what we perceive to be the substance of which our world is made may well also be a veil which, when lifted, is not invalidated, does not disappear, but is seen and experienced in a new light, a new way. Is the substance wood and stone? Or is the substance gold and lead and hydrocarbon rings? Or is the substance atomic particles? Or is the substance subatomic particles? Or is the substance unparticles of light phenomena appearing and annihilating in a constant flow? Or is the substance the relationship of these photons? Or is the substance comprised of the dimension from which these photons originate, which is beyond the space-time continuum. Or is this substance consciousness and intent? Or is it a motherÌs kiss? |
