The rocking undulations experienced in this dance---both by the
individual and by the circle as a whole due to the close handhold and,
therefore, the union of movement of the bodies---are a classic movement
for entering into a state of consciousness that is open to passing through
and into whatever level of the veil is in the capacity of the facilitator
and the circle.
The movement (if not the dance) certainly hearkens to the Neolithic.
