Notes
ìThe Harvest of the Soulî
The song is a Call and Response song
In essence the dance is a marching step,
but done with sort of side steps and a lot of body groove to the music.
The circle can go in and out, also.
Some folks do this as a dance of two lines facing one another.
If the two lines are of one men and the other women,
and the caller is creative in the vocal expression of the words,
a lot of stuff can surface and come out during this dance.
Great to do one on one or in threes, also!
ìBaba la gumba
Gumba la havisay X2
O hey na na
na na havisay X2î
Be creative with the rhythm of the words!
