Despite the turmoil of the African continent
The world has a very important message to learn from Africa.
This is the message embodied by Nelson Mandela, who is one of the greatest statesmen to emerge as a world leader in the 2oth century.
It is the masseage of Ghandi,
whose formative decades were spent in South Africa.
The message has to do with not only tolerance, but a true spiritual love dwelling deeply within the soul and heart towards all, no matter how different they may be ... even if they have oppressed you terribly.
.
May the People of the Earth hear the messages that each culture has to bring
so that we may dance, all, in peace and in unity,
in the circle of circles, of circles.
.
Get a good drummer or three and sing sing sing and dance!
Words in both English and in the Native Tongue
(This is how the dance is sung by the participants)
many many thanks to aimee, rania, greta and brandon who taught me (Anja) this wonderful
song and dance on touchstone farm in 1996
