Notes
A joyful movement and dance of inspiration, this dance may be easily used as one of the transition dances between the usually faster first part of an evening and the usually more meditative last part of an evening.
A classic form of working with circle energy in sacred movement is to engage in those movements first which will ìbrush the dust from the shouldersî. That is, those movements which cultivate joy, relief and release of the burdens we tend to daily gather, acceptance of ones self and circle union (community). Later in a session, as the circle is prepared and more at ease with themselves, the classic form would move towards the contemplative and, if the moment is correct, towards the passing through of the veils.
All forms, of course, are only generalizations. The capacity of the facilitator to be in the collected state (see the glossary) and therefore to feel through direct knowledge (see the glossary) the mental, emotional and deep heart state of the circle and of the individuals is ever the true guidance of the form and flow of any given session.
