Emily says of the dance:
A rose opens gradually, only as she is ready. So too does
love unfold.

In preparation arrange two leaders and two ends
(two half circles in the shape of a whole circle).
During the musical intro
stand with the hands over the heart.
Extend left hand, elbow bent, palm towards not touching neighbors.
Do the same with the right.
Head follows hands then faces center.
Sway to music.
{This is the starting position}
This dance explores the themes of separateness and connectedness
in relationship with self and others. The starting point is like
the seed, contained. Connections are made, the flower opens
and then the dance concludes again with containment in the seed.
