Origin---Greece

Notes
The Sousta was probably derived from an ancient Greek pyrrhic war dance,
danced in full armor.
These days the steps are springy and small.
The term ìsoustaî means ìspringî,
referring to the bouncing movement of the dancers.
Today the dance is associated with courtship.
