Sta Tria (Three Step)
Sta Tria would be one of the dances dances on holy days,
danced in a line probably led by a priest.
The line form allows for the entering of people into the dance
as they arrive for the festivities.
In 2/4 time. A syrto dance.
Sometimes called "Epirotiko" in the U.S.,
but common in Thessaly and parts of Macedonia as well as Epirus.
Like many dances from Epirus, this dance is slow and done with heavy steps
It is one of the rare Greek dances where the hips twist round with the steps.
