originally from Central Anatolia, now seen throughout Turkey.
This is one of many of a group of dances called the ëHalayí, where-in the leader of the open circle or line would now and then break from the cline and, facing the other dances, would dance variations in solo.
Hold the arms close to the self and down so that the experience of the dancing line as one people may be cultivated.
