the site of the former New Lebanon Shaker community.

mountain retreat center is contained within the Abode's 430 acres of sacred
land
graced
with streams, country roads, walking paths, a swimming pond,
and
an abundance of wildlife.

treasure awaits you in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of eastern New
York.
At
the end of a wooded country road, past clusters of historic Shaker buildings,
you
arrive at the Abode of the Message.
The
Abode is beauty, crystalline streams, organic gardens, graceful Shaker
architecture,
and
acres of breathtaking scenery.
It
is love, the warmth of caring people, a smile, and heartfelt sharing.
Here
you will find harmony,
